Hey all, My wife and myself were planning to vacation down in your area this year, and someone told us of a beach on the gulf in alabama thats around 30-35 miles out of pensacola Fla.
I would appreciate if anyone knows the name of the town/beach in question to give me a shout here or pm me......
Also, how bad is the weather down there in August? will I simply melt away.....remember I'm just a pale white boy from New Jersey[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

The name of the area your are speaking of is Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. They are right next to each other don't know why they have two names. Its nice but Destin Florida is my favorite beach spot. The Gulf Shores area is more affordable but the white sands of Destin are hard to beat. So if your going budget to save money for more G parts go to Gulf Shores. If you want the best beach in the south go for Destin.

And it will be very hot...You won't be white when you leave. But between the beach umbrella's, the pool, and the beer....you'll live....

 

I took my G to Destin last Saturday. It's the most beautiful and cleanest beach I've been too and I'm from Panama City. They have nice outlet shops for your wife as well.
