I stopped by the autocross event out at the St. Aug tech center for todays regional event. Seemed like less of the Whitehouse "wide open, turn and burn" and more of a controlled street event. Basically they used a old police training facility which is more like an actual street course. Very cool although not much for viewing as people are forced to run more conservatively than at the airstrip. Actually seems like it would be less wear and tear on the car [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img] but still alot of fun. Myself I would prefer this layout, too bad they're not running again anytime soon.
