If I can finish my swap and get tuned by then I will try to make it.

 

How is the 2JZ swap coming along man? Are you having to cut back on the firewall to get the motor to fit or how is the clearance, and what all modifications are you having to do to make it work? Just curious I'd like to know.

 

Its coming SLOW!!! Dude we are having to do alot of custom fabbing and all custom hard pipes for the turbo setup (hot and cold pipes). Right now we are just getting all of the parts in so we can mock up the engine with the turbo setup. After that we will start to sit it off in the engine bay and start seeing what has to be done from there.

We already have the 2JZ-GTE (full long block with acc and ECU.), Precision PT67 Turbo, Brian Crowler 264 Cams, R154 tranny, 1JZ bellhousing, clutch, flywheel and Intercooler. Waiting on an exhaust manifold and then we can make some progress.

We will have to have a custom driveshaft and engine harness made to finish it off but other than that the guys at TDC think they have it all worked out. Wish me luck!! We are not going to shoot for crazy HP to start just around 500 or so until we make sure all the bugs are worked out. After that and some tuning we hope to get about 650 or so.

Can't make it that weekend. I am going to Germany on vacation May 12-26, so I will miss out on this one too, but I will be touring the Mercedes Factory/Museum in Stuttgart as well as the Porsche plant there. Wish I could make it, Im actually going to MB for the first time this coming weekend with a buddy for the weekend. Looks like it will be a good turnout tho. I will be at Fuddruckers again, good time but we need more G's/Z's out there.

Long story short, my grandma has been wanting to make the trip down to NC to see my house and my sister's house, and her health isn't great to say the least. The weekend that my Mom and her worked out is this weekend. Needless to say, family comes first, so hopefully I can make the next one.

 

Sorry to hear that pollock but you're right family does come first. So do what ya gotta do man....dont worry you can catch te next meet.

Well I just got my days off from work for the meet. Any replies on the other forums yet sloop? Also I think we should plan out a weekend....like figure up what we are gonna do on what days and stuff and I also think we should eat at Margaritaville this time cause that place is awesome. We have to go for a cruise during the day though for sure so I can get some Video Footage this time!
