Orlando Tint & Clear Bra?
Re: Orlando Tint & Clear Bra?
I've got the perfect c-bra installer. He did my car and you can see it whenever you like. He charges between $500 and $600 for the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. He also did free touch ups (perfectly I might add) and did the whole application in my garage in about 4 hours. His name is Alan Seligman, # 407-927-1900.
Alan was one of the original clear bra installers about 6-7 years ago when 3M was developing the film. He's a nice guy and does great work. He even worked with a company to design a "special" cut pattern for the G35. Instead of having lines that run across the vehicle, he blended the bra into the pattern of the head lights and "shaped" the line across the hood to flow much nicer (IMO) than any c-bra install I've seen yet. FYI, other local people have had Orlando Infiniti do their install (DED is one that comes to mind). Maybe you should show up to our next Friday Night Outing and take a look at several of the c-bra jobs and decide what you like best. It would be worth your time and money to see the different patterns, and quality of work before you just jump into choosing someone. A bad job would really suck, and you'd be out your money as well.
Make sure you tell Alan that Todd with the red G35 sent you. Maybe he'll give me a couple of dollars off of my next vehicle's install (never know).
See you around...
The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

Re: Orlando Tint & Clear Bra?
I used the C-bra and tint installers at Orlando Infiniti as well. I went with the dealer for the simple fact that I was having other work done and getting all of it done at once while I had a loaner made sense for me. I won't recommend the dealer installers because they could have changed installers between then (April) and now. I will tell you both the tint and C-bra installers that were there at the time did a relatively competent job.
The tint installer did a good job of installing it properly over the bubble matrix but the tint he used scratches easily.
The C-bra installer didn't clean my bumper properly before the installation, so I have a couple spots where he installed right over bug guts. The spots aren't very big and definately not noticeable unless your are a couple of inches from the bumper and know where to look. I only notice when I'm washing it and shake my head every time. Other than that the job he did was ok. I spoke to the installer before he did my car and he was accomodating when I wanted more than the normal places covered with the material.
As for neffster's recommendation, I would also recommend at least talking to Alan. I had a long conversation with him about his product and his knowledge and experience comes through. I didn't use him for the reasons I stated above, but I know others that have used him and they've all had good things to say about his quality, and I'm not even looking for a discount from him .
If your free on a friday, many of us here in Orlando get together on the east side of town, near UCF. If you come to one of our gatherings, you can see several tint and C-bra installations like neffster said.
Hope that helps you some. Now if only I can find a good local dent remover

Re: Orlando Tint & Clear Bra?
Alan is actually driving up to Jacksonville in the next week or two for me to do a whole messload of clear bra stuff.. The only hold up is my INGs kit isn't here yet for him to do that too. I've heard good things about his workmanship and the product he uses so I am optimistic.
