Well i was able to remedy my cheap intake. I just cut 3 inches off of the tube, trimmed the rubber breather tube coming from the engine, bought a pipe hanger from Lowes to secure it a little better. Rather then it just hanging there. It looks alright.
Now its time to custom a tube going through that huge void where the stock intake silencer was and connect to front bumper grille to allow cool air too the intake filter.

.Random question, I would have assumed it would have included a gasket to go underneath the MREV, am I wrong about that? Or do you just reuse the old gasket?

But, I do have instructions - the problem is that their instructions include steps for those that bought the kit that comes with the new thermal isolating gasket fro the lower plenum. I gotta pick up some things from the dealership anyway, so I might as well grab a new gasket while there.

Thats the area I work in and Will lives near so good choice. We can try to set something up soon. Also if anyone is interested, Rodney (Surfer05rdr) has a friend trying to do a small meet this Saturday with the Z's if you wanna come out. Ill get some more info on location time by tommorow.
