i would be down for a photoshoot but i have to work 10-10 today. sucks!

and idk wtf is going on with all this drama... im neutral most of the time, but ive been thinking about paying the $40 just so i can see the members only forum and be able to chat with my friends... or just saying screw it and back out of the scene all together..
The reason why I am here is to make friends with similar interests, cars. Most of my friends do not care about cars but they love mine... ok great, but they dont know anything about cars so i cannot talk about it. I came here to make friends with people and to get out more... to learn and be able to hold good interesting conversations... and to make new friends.
so i guess i have to decide.

lenox posts stupid ****. they cannot control him or ban him.
the club decide to close down our discussion threads because of one person.
everyone gets mad.
closing down the discussion came across as... "we only want our members talking here" and came across as one of those snobby upper class clubs that look down on everyone who isnt a member.
I really liked the discussion threads, they were a great idea and let more people socialize as more of friends, then as "oh hello there nightm4re!" its more like "hey chris, whats up?" It was all one long ongoing conversation, and was fun.
this just goes to show. one bad seed can ruin it for everyone.
I don't see moving the threads being a big deal. We can still all hang out, meet, etc. I think he just moved those threads to make a point. No more bickering or annoying/immature posts in the FGC forums because it makes that particular club look bad.
The job of a moderator is to clean up the boards. But a lot of you (and to a degree, myself included) are very opposed to censorship. So a lot of people aren't going to agree with effectively deleting those threads. I actually don't agree with it either. But what are you gonna do?
If I was charged with maintaining a club and it's reputation, I would probably take progressive measures which would unfortunately lead to more drastic ones. The 24 hour ban, deleting posts, locking threads, all of that hasn't really been effective since we're still having problems.
Just think about those potentials out there who may stumble across the FGC and they read through some of these threads. Although, a lot of us are passionate, hot heads, with strong opinions, that kinda stuff would turn off the general public. The vast majority of z and g owners here in Orlando aren't enthusiasts already. Just look at all the stock people rolling around town. So it would be harder still to convince people to check us out if we have people arguing or making strange/inappropriate posts. Well, strange and inappropriate to the general public. Maybe not to us. We're already pretty strange and inappropriate, lol.

For the record no one has posted in that thread, we don't have the next meet set up yet. Still planning on doing dinner in the waterford area and then rolling up to the UCF meet afterwards.
You would be paying 40 dollars to CHAT? that is dumb!
WOuld you pay 40 bucks if facebook wanted money so you could talk to friends? NO.
And i don't think i was the main reason why the treads got moved.
But i do like to post stupid things. But i also like to have fun
I really hope you guys Like Reading. Kennedy was so kind to share this with me. I really am at a lost for JB and have zero respect for that guy.

Actually, I said "I know you think you're a smart, witty individual..." I didn't say I think you are smart. However, you are smart, but monumentally insecure, immature, and some times downright stupid.
You have PM'd some extremely hateful things to Sarge. I don't blame him for being very upset with you. He deserves an apology.
This is a simple car club... You have insulted his very manhood and reason for being on this planet... You have insulted his family... If you don't think you have, you need to go back and read them again.
I know exactly what was said between both of u, if he wants to talk down to me and play ball I will play ball I am not the only one who thinks he is a douchebag and if he is that insecure about himself may he should seek counseling. I have a right to speak my mind everyone else does and gets away with it, I won't apologize to someone who has talked down to me countless times and I have engaged with. If he wishes to apologize for the ****ty things he has said and instigated then I would consider it. As I said it was not I who posted the link so for him to jump to conclusions was bad on his part or should I say Assume and we both know what assuming does..
