New to NC area

Im heading to the Jacksonville, NC area and was looking for some info on shops and if there were any local g35s.

Im looking to get some turbo tuning, suspension and gauge work done within the next month or two and not sure where I should take it.

Forged Performance in Marietta GA if you want to make the drive it'd be worth it

+1 for both places. Either choice would be good. Welcome to NC also. Hope to see you at one of the summer meets

+1 on National Speed.

You also have Majestic Motorsports in Jacksonville itself. I myself haven't taken too much of a look at them but almost every boosted car in Jacksonville either goes through them, ECS (East Coast Sport-compact) or National Speed. Not many people here willing to make a cross-state trip to other shops unless they're spending the big bucks.

I'm a Jacksonville local, not by choice, but I've been here for about 4 years and some change now. Just picked up a G last week.

Do they deal with small work with transmissions?

Which shop?

I know Majestic handles pretty much everything. ESC.. I don't know how much I'd trust them. Lot's of boosted rust buckets coming in and out of there and the few times that I did stop in and talk (Back when I had a Lancer) they seemed a bit shady to me.

National Speed, on the other hand, I know can hook it up. I have a couple of former Marine friends who got out and went to work down there. So far, from what I've heard, they've got some pretty good rep in concern to their work.

Bumping a semi-old thread.

I haven't made the trip to National Speed yet but I have emailed them with some inquiries. They seem very knowledgeable about Z/Gs. I look forward to the visit.
