All right. Most of you guys know I'm expecting some "pretty cool mods" to show up around Wednesday or Thrusday and was hoping to show them off this Friday. Since the anticipation is KILLING ME, I decided to start another thread to have the group meet up at the usual time (5pm) at a new location. I think everyone decided to try Applebee's on University Blvd. (just East of Bennigins) so I figured I'd start this thread.

Just checking to see who's going to show up. Also, a big apology to Sean for me sucking a$$ in darts last Friday. I'll have to make it up next week.

Is everyone cool with meeting up and then doing the pool/darts thing again? Maybe catch a group of lesbians slapping and feeling each other up again? Hopefully this time they'll actually be worth looking at. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I think we're doing this wrong though, we need to find a place that will sponsor our meets. Somewhere that is smart enough to realize having 10 hot cars parked in front of their place of business give's them the juice the place next door won't have. People want to go to places that have hot people and hot cars parked in front.

What type of sponsorship would you recommend? Are you thinking about a restaurant, aftermarket parts, stereo, etc. I think a great meeting place is Waterford Lakes, you get a lot of exposure but were limited to restaurants. Maybe we could set something up with Best Buy. Does anyone else have any suggestions on a meeting place with good exposure?

 

todd what are your cool new mods? rims and springs? i decided to do away with my gtc cause racing zone blows. and get some maya rt5's they look much better. will be picking those up on wednes or thurs.

Dan, as far as the mods, let's just say that I hope Racing Zone treats me better than they treated you... I'm calling them today to check the status of my order. I'll be pissed off if they don't have everything in by Thursday...

 

Hooters will alot parking spaces for us if we call in advance, but they are still too expensive....I don't have the time, but if someone is willing to call all those restaurants on University, then maybe we can get something going with one of them.

Just found out that most of my mods will be in by Friday, but one item in particular will not be in until early next week. Since I'm going to have all of the mods installed all at once, I guess I'll have to wait another week to show off the goods, DAMN! This waiting stuff really sucks!
