hey guys. just thought i should tell you that Kevin will be here for the week(16th-23rd). thinkin we should get together tomorrow. or maybe sometime this week. also thinkin that we should hit the track on next thursday. i went ot day and met mike down there. also rich happened to be there with his 8.5:1 compression and greddy twin turbos. who is up for some stuff?? maybe the orlando guys can come over too.

You should push him to sell/demo his window up & vdc modules to all nearby Infiniti and Nissan dealerships. They might buy into it. What kind of times did rich put down with his car? Does he post here?

Daniel, get John at Lokey to do another weekend event on the 23rd, that is if Kevin will still be here. I wouldn't even mind chipping in $10-$15 for hotdogs and sodas if they would set up another event. I'm sure some of the guys would do an oil change or get some type of service done to make it worth Lokey's time.

Heck, if this goes through I'll get a 4 wheel alignment while I'm there, my camber in the rear is WAY out.

How long will Kevin be in town that weekend? We could all show John how cool this mod is and he could add it to his vehicles and charge the typical Infinity 100% to 200% mark up for it. [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

 

Todd, if your going to lower your car you'll want to wait until the springs settle before getting the alignment done.
Otherwise, the springs may settle more afterwards, knocking the alignment out again.

I'll hang. Are you thinking like saturday or something? My buddy in his STi wants a rematch to he was already talking about Thursday. Unfortunately Rich didn't run, he's still waiting on some more parts if I understood him correctly. Cool guy though. Next time I want to go early. Some girl fell off of her bike towards the end of her run and the track was closed for about a half hour. I think she ended up ok.

Jeff that's sound advice. Hopefully everything will work out well. I believe the springs need to settle against the perch and that's it. They do not actually sag or continue to deflect, they just need to "rotate" into position. I've been told that the springs will seat just by bouncing each corner of the car up and down for a minute or two. I'll make sure to drive 300-400 miles before any type of alignment is done.

 

aight guys. got off the john at lokey a little while ago. he says that next weekend is out cause he will be out of town. he has that if we want to do it tomorrow that is fine. he also told me that the sales people now took his idea and they have a grill every weekend and hold a little thing, so if we want to go some other weekend he said its cool just let him know.

also rich is the guy that orginally had the procharger at z fest, but he now has the greddy twins. he didnt run last night cause it is not tuned yet and he still needs to get somemore stuff. he said that when the parts come in, he is goin to go straight to stage three(12 or 15psi) and skip stage two(9psi). i will give him a call this week and see if he wants to meet us at the track on thurs.

now who is in for the track on thurs? kevin said hes down for goin.

What doesn't work again? The window motor? If that is the case you should probably get to dealership to have it looked at. Intermittent window failures are a precurser to total window motor failures! If you go to the track with us Thursday I'll take a look at it.
