First of all, are you talking about the coupe or the sedan or 6MT or 5AT? For the coupe, expect to be paying $500+ per month. Of course, it depends on your credit and options you want on the car and what dealer you go to and when exactly you intend on buying, whether you order it or pick one on their lot, etc etc. If you want the 6MT when it first comes out in Dec, don't expect a good deal on it since it will be in such high demand. Let's say, just hypothetically, that you get it for $35k with 10k down, 60 months at 4%, your payment will be $460. You can easily calculate those numbers, the rest depends on your down, credit and the car you want.

Thanx, I was looking at the 6 manual, the only extras I want are the sunroof, and maybe nav, planning on changing the body and rims on my own, I won;t buy until around mid next year so that it gives me time to save as much as possible and maybe the demand for the 05' will drop a little, who knows. what dealer would you recommend?

Cool, so we'll be getting our 6MT coupes at about the same time! Well, the thing is that nav requires the premium package and together they will run you $4,450. Add that to the 33k base price for the 6MT. If you drop the nav and premium, the sunroof only will run you $1,000, so that will be around 34k sticker price. But in that case you will probably have to order it because most Gs come with premium package.

As far as which dealer to go to, don't go to only one dealer. Check with all, especially if you insist on a particular color combination. I've personally only dealt with Warren Henry Infiniti on NW 208th and 441 and they are exceptionally nice and professional people. They're the biggest dealer in Miami, but their Jag dealership is right next door so expect their sales people to have that kind of attitude if you're going to go there and try to get a deal :P Your best bet is going to the website and locating all the S. Fla dealers, then contacting them all.

Warren Henry is bigger than South Motors Inifniti? That's surprising! Anyways, not that it helps, but my 2004 G35 5AT Sedan with Premium was stickered in the 34k range and we worked it down to $31,200 back in April. As an FYI, I put 6400 down, and my payments are EXACTLY 500.00

Thanx for all the input guys, tgenius I think you got an awesome deal, I'll probably won't go with nav if it's that much, as a matter of fact, the fact that it doesn't play dvd's turned me off, I asked here cuz I've seen some as high as 38's and that's just way too much for me, I'm planning (hoping) to give close to 15k down, to bring dow the monthly payments as much as possible, I know this question's kind of stupid... but usually what kind of sticker price drops can I expect? since they work on comission does the down payment amount helps? thanx for the help guys.

Your financing is not their problem, all they care about is selling you a car at a profit. We don't know yet what the demand for the '05 6MT will be 6 months from now, you might be better off buying towards the end of the model year when you'll have a better chance of getting a deal. They can give it to you for as much $1500 or as little as $500 under MSRP. What you should be looking for, though, is the price over invoice, not under MSRP. There's a good $2,700 - 3,000 difference between invoice and MSRP and you want to get them to give it to you for just a little over invoice.

as finiti35 pointed out, the difference between MSRP and invoice is about 3500-4000. When a new model comes out, you are going to be VERY hard pressed for getting it at anything below MSRP.

The invoice price is what the manufacturer supposedly charged the dealership for the car. The MSRP is what the dealer is supposed to charge you. Of course, in reality dealers pay less for a car than what the invoice says (after cash incentives, etc.) and you, respectively, should pay less than MSRP too. If a particular car is in high demand, they can easily charge you MSRP or even more than that, like it happened when the first coupes came out. What you would call 'a deal' truly depends not only on how much you pay, but also on the financing you get and how much they give you for your trade-in, if you have one. There are too many factors to be accounted for (price, fin. rate, trade-in, geographic region, demand, timing), so what sounds like a deal to someone may not apply to someone else.

Ah, I've never been to South Motors, I was just comparing Warren Henry to the other Broward dealers. You may be right! But Warren Henry is pretty big, they have a holding area that's about 3 times as big as their parking lot outside. Outside they only keep a dozen coupes or two.

If you want to save some $$$$, get a 2004. The 2004 has Brembos and better looking wheels. To me, the interior improvements are not worth giving up the Brembos. I like the '04 gauges better than the new ones. I got my 2004 6MT fully loaded (including the factory front lip) for $38600 out the door. From what I understand, you get more HP in the '05 but the torque has dropped a little.
