Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

I used it as a pre-filter. No, the charcoal isn't loose enough to fall into the filter in large enough quantities to clog the filter.

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

Can someone print out the instructions to the DIY in color so that we can have good instructions to follow? My color printer is lacking at best.

Thanks...

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

Dennis is right. I say we do the swap on his car first, learn from our mistakes and then do Sean's car. Followed by Wes' and Ian's cars, then finish with mine.
..."pussies"... haha

In that case I might be late so let's do my car last.

If you've noticed Neff, I always allow you to mod and dyno FIRST.

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

Hahaha... I don't even think you have more than 1 mod that I have. oohhh... let me wait on the z-tube, it's so risky.

Let's see, you waited on Wes for the clear corners and the BAT light covers, but you PIONEERED your way through with the aluminum pedals. You rebel!!!

All right, 12:00 tomorrow I expect Ian to be here with the instructions. We might be able to do 2 cars at a time, one just behind the next.

Sean, are you still planning on doing the ONLY oil change? Do you really think you'll get Dennis to do it for a 6 pack of Budweiser? Also, make sure to grab the poker chips... I'd like to take a little bit more of Dennis' money, if you know what I mean.

Also, don't forget that this is a BYOB event. I have about 2 lbs. of hamburger meat, an 8 pack of boar's head hotdogs, Sun chips, baked beans and plenty of hamburger and hotdog buns, a 2 liter of Sprite for Ian and plenty of bottled water, but I'm 100% out of beer. If someone would bring a 12 pack of Miller Lite for the host, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, I'm planning on doing the only oil change. I'm meeting Dennis at his house FIRST. Then we'll be at your house for 12:00. Neff, how much did you win last week?

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

I won back my $5.00 buy in, I won back Loafy's $5.00 buy in and I had close to a $5.00 cash prize. I would have done much better if I had not lost 3 BIG hands to you. I think those 3 hands took about $10.00 away from my winnings. How can you lose a hand with 3 Kings???

Also, who's bringing the Miller Lite and what time should we eat? I figure that we'll start the installs around noon-ish. We'll probably finish up around 3pm and then start playing poker. Should we eat before poker, I'm thinking we should? I'm open to suggestions, anyone?

Also, no women or children allowed! This rule stands for all of my poker games, mod days and cook outs. Family oriented events will be announced in advance.

Stewart, are you planning on showing up too?

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

Chiliblast is from 11:00 - 16:00 tomorrow at Waterford.

I need to show up there tomorrow for an hour or two.

Also, I still have loads of crap to do around the house to prepare for the little ones party on Sunday. (You're all still invited BTW)

I plan on doing the o.c. before 11, working around the house and do chiliblast during the day. I may be able to do poker, but I won't show up until dark, around 17:30.

Also, the Orlando International Auto Show is next week from Thursday to Sunday. I feel the need to go to that. Probably Saturday or Sunday.

Anyone interested?

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

What is chiliblast? That's quite a name.
I'll probably be up for the auto show next week, DED.

Todd, pm me your address again, I'm going to try to make it over today.

Anybody interested in going to the NHRA Florida Nationals this weekend?

Re: CFL micro-filter group install...

Dennis,
Maybe you should start a new thread for the auto show. I've never been to one before, but have always wanted to go. Any idea on the details like cost, times, etc...?

Jeff,
PM sent.

Sorry I did not show up to the meet this past Saturday, I had to travel home to south Florida unexpectedly. I’m leaving to go to Colorado tomorrow for the holiday. Everyone have a wonderful thanksgiving.
