Hello to all hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy new years! Anyways I want to Dyno my car, does anyone know a shop in WPB, FLL, or North Miami that does this? Is Anyone else interested in meeting up for a "dyno day" sometime in the next week or so?

Darn it! I was hoping not to have to show my hand so early, but I was thinking about having the next Miami meet and incorporating it into a dyno day. This way the Miami guys could show up early and give us Northerners some time to come down and join up later in the day. Maybe get a hotel and drive back. This would not be until the June timeframe, so that's just something to consider. NOTHING IS FINAL but that was my little plan...

Neff are you planning on meeting up at a dealer in June, or would you rather have the meet some place else besides the dyno shop? I always liked the idea of a spirited drive/cruise and I should have my coupe by June for crying out loud. Any other ideas? FL350GT knows the people at Infiniti of Coconut Creek, so if we need a dealer to meet up at for any reason I think he'll be glad to help.

 

Actually, the only one I've heard some feedback about is Speed Injected in Hallandale. I've never dynoed my car so I wouldn't know about any of the shops.

 

iv read alot of bad posts about Coconut Creek, just a warning since u havent bought ur car. I have never been there so i cant say first hand but the warning stands nonetheless.

As for meeting at a dealership, that would only happen if they were a sponser, like Lokey (and i dont think we need or want 2 dealerships sponsering us), because we shouldnt help business of a non-sponser if we have a sponser that is a dealership.

Wes you have a point about the sponsorship, I didn't think about it. 2 times in a row at the dealer gets old plus I've heard bad things about each and every S Fla dealer besides South Motors which is way south. I guess we should start checking out the dyno shops and pick one out for the meet.

 

Well, I'm not sure if FL350GT wants to be involved with helping set up a meet since he's yet to join the FLORIDA G35 CLUB. I hope he's just away for the holidays, but you never know. If he does want to join the club and help out, THAT WOULD BE GREAT! Same goes for all of the other Miami guys/girls. They should join up soon before the CHARTER MEMBERSHIP timeframe is up... Feb 28th is quickly approaching. If we can just get a few more Miami people to join the club I will guarantee a Miami meet this year and I'm sure those guys will want to show up to that (especially if we can get 30-40 G's there).

Turbomaxima, are you in? What about the rest of the Miami group. There were 8 of you all at the last Miami meet (at least that's the # of G's I remember seeing in the photo). Are you guys going to get involved? If not, there really isn't a reason to hold a meet down there... Feel free to post here or send me a PM if you'd like. I really could use some more SFL support. I've been told that there are G's EVERYWHERE down there!!!

 

And you've been told the truth, I see 4-5 coupes every day and my daily commute is a short 15 mile round trip! It's ridiculous how we have 5 Infiniti dealers in the tri-county area, so many cars and no community whatsoever At the last meet, 2 of the 9 Gs that showed up had out-of-state plates -- much respect for that.

Maybe you should try to contact g35tt (yes, tt ), it would be great to have him join and attend as his G is absolutely breathtaking! Unfortunately both gspotter and turbomaxima are up in Jax. There are a lot of members in S Fla, I even saved a list with their member names somewhere, but they just don't post often. It's really beyond me, but that's how it is here.

 

Yeh so i was thinking either Friday or Saturday morning about doing this I'll see who all wants in a pic a spot in the middle and i'll make some calls then and see what kinda deal they will give us. As far as June goes, it's January!! Although that would be a good idea for a meet, im looking to get my car dynoed a bit sooner than that! Thanks T for the info, like i said im gunna see if anyone wants to join and then i'll call a shop..

 

ok SO its looks like some people from SFR are having a dyno day this Saturday the 8th at 9am. 35 bucks will get you 3 pulls, 5 dollars more will get u a/f reading. Hope some of you will come out, im sure there will be a few Z's out as well..
