Fellow FGC members..which color calipers?

Hey guys. I'm gonna paint my calipers

Anyway....I am torn between the yellow (not gold) and Red. I taped colored paper so I can see the difference. What do you guys think would look best on DG.

Sorry for the bad pics...camera phone...

I didnt see any pics, but I dont think either of those colors will look good on a DG or at least look good like the brembos on a CB 6MT. But I would go with Red, not yellow, or perhaps go with Silver or Black ( if they have black )

They are showing up on mine. Maybe I am not doing it right. They are posted on imagestation. Here are direct links. Hopefully that helps.

They are already grey, so I do not think I will take the time to make them silver. They do have black. I'm gonna search the forums to see what black may look like. Thanks for the reply.

Get a silver or black G2 caliper paint set. I do see the imagestation pics, but I wouldn't go with either color on DG.. I like it when the calipers match the color of the car, there was this Daytona Blue 350Z at my dealer with blue painted calipers and white 350Z logo on them, sexiness

I completely agree with the color matching. Problem is the calipers are already gray and the DG is a gray color. I do not think the G2 silver would match and wouldn't stand out either. Maybe it would.

If I had a blue or red type car, I would color match withouth question. Problem is the DG is a strange color.

Anyone know where I can see a DG with either silver or black calipers?

I am glad i asked this question as I am getting good honest responses. I may just end up keeping them stock.

Thanks guys

Yeah black would look good. Especially if it was shiny like the brembos.

It depends on what you are after. If you are wanting to stand out, I would go with the red. If you want class and clean that blends with the DG, I would go with the black.

Personally, I would do the black.

You could always do the front red and the back black if you really want to stand out.

The paint isn't expensive and it isn't that time intensive to paint them. Do the red and if you don't like it switch it to black. You could also paint one side red and one side black to see them both in real time. Those were thoughts I had when I was trying to decide for myself.

For the record, I went with red and am glad I did.

If your going to be in the area and want a hand, let me know, we can do it at my place.

Thanks Jeff. I am leaning red b/c I have always loved red calipers on cars. Just a little surprised that everyone is saying black. The black is classy but hardly stands out.

Can you post a pic or PM me a pic of what yours look like. Thanks.

Also, thanks for the offer. I am probably going to be there on Feb 4th weekend. Maybe I'll do it that weekend...depending how long it takes I guess. How many coats did you do? Did you only need one G2 paint kit?
