i really really want to change my interior lights from Orange to Blue, does anyone in South Florida know how to do this, or a place that might. I'd be willing to pay a fellow member top dollar to help ( well pretty much do it ).

 

me and Dan have talked about this alot...its not an easy job AT ALL!!

do a search and u should be able to find it...one guy changed allll the lights to blue and it looked SHARP but some require soldiering and some require film and just alot of work....

 

The guy that did it is "accordfreak". He had to de-solder almost 100 leds and re-solder the blue ones back in (for head unit, ac, window switches, vdc, seat heaters). For the gauge cluster he had to sand off the orange film and do the same with those leds. The AC/compass display had to be cut out and he used blue film. The display itself is white and the plastic lens is orange. It was a big job and not recommended unless you're good with soldering. The leds could fit on top of a pencil eraser and you're soldering to the boards so you need to be careful.

 

so is anyone wanting to experiment with me, i think that guy lives in Cali tho. I kinda just need some help taking the dash apart, the correct way, after that i think i can find someone else to help me do the soudering
