Anyone with ART pipes in NC?

I'm very close to purchasing a set of MotorDyne ART pipes for my 6MT. I'm due for inspection this month so it got me thinking about how ART pipes will do against NC emissions testing. Does anyone in NC run ART pipes? If so, are you able to pass inspection with them on or do you have to swap the cats back on to pass?

I'm pretty sure there is no sniffer test but can't remember if they do a visual inspection for cats or any tampering. I'm buying them one way or the other lol.

Thanks for any help my fellow North Carolinians!

Yeah I can do it tomorrow if I wanted. I'll probably end up doing it early. Smexy = smelly & sexy? Lol

U shouldn't have a problem with the test pipes, I just did my inspection and everything went fine no problems whatsoever

Word. Good to know. I got my car inspected last weekend and watched carefully...they don't even do half of the stuff on the checklist anymore, much less look under the car for cats.

My one concern is the noise on startup once I throw on my exhaust and ARTs and maybe the fumes as they're running the OBD2
