HELP NEW to the Atlanta area

Hello,

I recently moved to Georgia and living around the Atlanta area. I am looking for some body shop and mechanic that is trusted in the area to take my G to. Could any of you guys help point me in the right direction.

Thank you

z1 Motorsports is good but they would be about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta, Forged Motorsports would be closer they are on Cobb Parkway in Marietta. These are good performance and tuning shops so they will cost more than normal shops. Forged performance actually had their skylines in the new furious 7 movie

I would read up on Forged. Seen some bad reviews come out of there. I called a while back to see about rebuilding my motor and he wouldn't give me a quote. Kept saying he would call back and never did. I wouldn't do business with them. That's just me.

As far as dealers, Nalley Inifiniti in Marietta is usually pricier. Nalley Inifiniti in Decatur is cheaper. I don't go to Marietta unless they have a coupon. I did get them to price match on tires recently which was surprise. Roswell Infiniti seems more reasonable than Nalley , but they are also in more demand. So you wait longer for an appointment.

For 30K, 60K , etc, I usually go to Regal Nissan. They have access to the same parts, but are MUCH cheaper. I get brake replacements for $160-180 there instead of the 300 plus you pay at the inifiniti dealers. Their fluid flushes are much cheaper too. In general, if you are not doing any warranty work, Nissan dealers give you much better value than the Infiniti dealers.

I got some major work coming up(diagnose water leak, get rid of mildew smell meaning removing carpet and cleaning underneath, and replacing the driver's seat because of some gear or track problems). I wonder if anyone has found qualified alternatives for solid repair work, detail work, etc for their G35s. Now that I have 90K on the car, I don't know if I want to pay even Nissan dealer prices for this car.
