This groups is up and going with force and I wanted to post some pics from the small get togethers we have had. The "official" first meet is Sunday July 17th at the SCCA event in Birmingham so come on out if you have some time!

Is this group still around and meeting or has it died?

 

Well I'm honestly not certain. We started with the group and then had personal differences with a few of the guys in regards to direction, etc. They chose to go on with the group and started a site, etc. I have heard that the group dissolved and I know their forums don't come up anymore. I assume that it has died. I was very sad to hear this because I have been talking to the local Infiniti dealership regarding getting some events going and they are interested if they can have outside people organize things. I know I cannot do the full organization myself and I had hoped the group would be interested in helping out. I would like for there to be a group but Trey and I both want to start off with something very organized and setup so that anyone could walk in and continue the process from there. It's kind of a catch 22 in that we could get more people involved if the dealership started some events but I have to have some help to get the events going.

 

Well I can help in any way I can. I think it would be fun to get a group going. I havent had the car that long and it would be nice to have people to do things with. Just let me know how I can help.

I will be attending graduate school at Auburn starting in the fall, 8/07. I'm not quite sure how far away you are though but I am up for meeting people since I will not know anyone when I move up there from Florida.

 

Its between 1-2 hours down to Auburn. You should like it down there.

Well lets see who is interested. If anyone in/near BHam is interested in putting together a meet/drive-in/club, post on here and Trey, his wife, and I will see what we can do about putting something together. Thanks everyone.
