no, but there was a post on FA with a link to detailed instructions on how to do it yourself with body filler, sandpaper and spray paint.

Re: Jax Group

Not true, wheel repair shops can do it perfect. Just don't know of any in our area. May have to go to Orlando.

Re: Jax Group

I think redwillow was saying, if you want it absolutely perfect, you would have to buy a new wheel. NO wheel show can return a damaged wheel back to perfect condition, no matter how good the job looks. Kinda like bending the frame of a car or motorcycle; no matter how well you try to get it back, it will NEVER be perfect again. Of course, the difference between a new wheel, and reconditioned are so minimal, its not really a big deal to have it reworked. But no, not sure about any places that can do this sort of work. Sorry.

Re: Jax Group

Just noticed a place in town (Realpages.com), called "The Wheel Doctor". Sounds promising. Here's some info:

WHEEL DOCTOR THE (904) 646-3033
10200 BEACH BLVD
JACKSONVILLE, FL 32246

Let us know how it goes.

Re: Jax Group

Ahhh, I get said forget it. More freaking trouble then it's worth. Only $35. Anyway, 16th sounds good to me, at Hooters. Which Hooters I guess is the next question??

Re: Jax Group

g35: your better off... just let it go. Look at it this way, now you know first hand how they are over there and what to expect from them.

well,
regency is kinda crappy, landing - parking is a nightmare, orange park, is too far,

The only real option here that I see is Ponte Vedra (which is also pretty far for some people) or San Jose one (end of baymeadows).

I just called the San Jose one and the manager said they have no major events going on the 16th. He said to just call and let them know what time & how many people we have a day or so in advance.

Input from others on this??????

Re: Jax Group

I'm in. I don't care which one we go to. I've only been to the Regency so the beach would be a nice change in "scenery". But at Regency we can probably get them to reserve the front row of parking for us depending on how many we get.

Re: Jax Group

excellent point, parking at the baymeadows one is NOT ideal.

Is the regency one over across from Best Buy area? I'm having trouble picturing exactly where it is.

As far as the beach one, I've never been there, so I don't know if it would be better than regency one or not.

Re: Jax Group

The beach one has TONS of parking since it is in a huge strip mall and it is an Outparcel in the strip, so you are on the far side of the strip. Like I said, tons of parking. That is where the Jax car club meets on the 4th sun of every month.

Re: Jax Group

well, then it sounds like either Regency or the Beach one.
Actually, i've never been to the beach one and would prefer that one myself, if its not too far for everyone else. Actually, on second thought, maybe driving a little ways is GOOD!

Re: Jax Group

that sounds right. What time are we talking about....

i'll try to call the beach Hooters and make sure there isn't a big event going on the 16th over there.
