I'm looking to get clear bra on the coupe since I drive on the HWY a lot. How much did it cost you and where do they cover them beside the headlight & hood?

Also, anyone in ATL know where I can get it done for a good price?

I'm not sure where to go in Atlanta, but word of advice... make sure you go to someone that has been referred to you. Don't go on price alone. Take a look at my thread to see what kind of headaches can arise if you don't do your homework. Good luck!

I can, hands down, tell you who to use in Atlanta. He did my 06 Coupe this past Saturday and did an INCREDIBLE job. You are more than welcome to take a look at it if you want.

The installer was Derek with Atlanta Protective Films (www.atlantaprotectivefilms.com). His e-mail is derek@atlantaprotectivefilms.com. It took some time but the end result is nothing short of amazing. I took a bunch of pictures but only have a few uploaded.

Best of all, he is situated just north of Atlanta and comes to you for the install.

He did mention putting together some club pricing if we could get together a few cars that wanted to have it done.

EDIT: I just went back and looked at the horror story link. OUCH! Derek uses 3M film and the XPel precut system. The bumper is one (very difficult) piece. minus the piece that comes out for the tow hook. I have heard some less than stellar things about Llumar's installation groups and the way the stuff wears.

Scott, how much did he charge you. Your car is very nice. I'd like to check it out sometimes. And the Club discount idea isn't bad at all. We should talk to others about that.

 

Believe it or not, he was actually cheaper than the others I had talked with. I think the breakdown was $300 for the hood, mirror, and fenders and then $300 for the bumper and headlights. He also threw in the door cups and a section on the rear bumper.

The hood looks to be an absolute bear to do with the dips near the headlights. The bumper is just a nightmare. I got tired just watching him.

Drop me a line sometime and you can look over it. It is incredible!

My Corvette club is getting together a number of folks to go in on a group buy so we can probably put them all together and get a great rate.

Cool Scott. I talked to Derek as well. I have two cars that I'd like to get them on, the G35C and the Lexus IS250 for my girl. He quoted me at 1100 for both like you said, so it's a very good deal. Hopefully we can get it cheaper if your Club start to do it as well.
