Why is the original socal forum still down?

Wasn't it supposed to be opened at end of April?

Este producto tradicionalmente yucateco es elaborado con productos naturales como el arroz, canela, almendras, azúcar, etc. Su preparación es con agua y hielo.

Ya que es fría y deliciosa, es comunmente buscada para acompañar platillos como la cochinita pibil, relleno negro, escabeche, etc.

HORCHATA DE ARROZ

INGREDIENTES (Para 24 personas)

½ kilo de arroz,
50 gramos de canela,
15 almendras peladas y tostadas
½ coco fresco rallado
1 kilo de azúcar
½ litro de agua.
PREPARACIÓN
Se pone a remojar el arroz desde la víspera con agua a cubrir y la canela. Al día siguiente se lle añade coco rallado y se licúa todo muy bien con el agua de remojo.Se hace un almíbar con el azúcar y el agua, poniéndolos a hervir hasta que espesen, se añade este almíbar a la mezcla anterior y se revuelve perfectamente. Para servir la horchata se licúa con cubos de hielo.

PRESENTACIÓN
Se sirve licuada con hielo en vasos altos de vidrio.
