^ I don't want the new one. I want an 06 production model. And I expect a nice break since the "new" one is coming out if you catch my drift...I am still a fan of the body before the current one. BMW always looks good in my opinion....except for recently.

what you guys have to understand is BMW has already halted production of the e46 m3...so there really isn't that many around right now.

The other you gotta know is when and if BMW is going to give the dealer rebates on the M3. If BMW is giving the dealer rebates/incentives to the dealer to move it...that savings is going to get passed onto you. However, it might or might not come depending on supply.

Finally, leasing the m3 is out of the question...the money factor is terrible...buying is the way to go on that car.

Rarely, if ever, do incentives and rebates occur on the M3...they happen whenever a comet is passing through our atmosphere...

The only incentive I'm working off is that a newer model is coming out. Other than that, M3s sell themselves and are usually built upon order...we'll see. I don't want to buy. Buying puts me in the same bracket I'm in now of 1K a month. I am looking NOT to pay that much anymore...granted I own the G...but I'd never dream of owning an M out of warranty.

Thats exactly what I'm saying....m3 is a tough cookie of a car and to lease it is not worth it...BMW knows that car sells so they give a really bad money factor. But honestly I think it's not worth it...the e46 is outdated and the m3 has great performance...but the 335i is really where it's at.

The 335i is where it's at and a beast in it's own right with 300 hp and 300 tq....and max torque comes on at 1500 RPM...so on paper and mag test drives you cannot feel the turbo lag whatsoever. Not to mention it's got all the latest technological goodies, and newer body style. Fully loaded is going to be around $48k...and after a few months the money factor should get much better, probably after 6 months it debuts.

The lease on that will probably be in the low 5's, while the lease on the m3 its going to be in the 8's....and don't forget insurance is going to be higher on the m3.

Talk to my guy Robert...who knows, maybe he can get you a good deal on the m3 or he knows about some kind of promotion going on.

Just spoke with dealership....he said they'll have to order it.

I am trying to swing 6K down, 600 monthly, 36 months, 12K miles.

I know it ain't gonna happen, but its worth a shot. Pacific BMW told me "its going to be hard" and I told him its okay, I don't care for this car I'll call other dealerships and he told me call me back and let me know what they said....

Thats got me thinking...hmmm, I might not be too far from landing something under 7 bills a month on a 57K car.
