Its called getting jumped in, nothing new. Had no idea kids still gangbanging this hard after y2k. Guess growing up change you perspective & demeanor. Remember when hip hop culture were into violence and gangster rap, if you weren't from somewhere you weren't cool. No matter what background yours were, there were plenty of gangs that want you in. Now that its all about blings lifestyle, you think they would move on and start getting paid. Kids being kids I guess, still got a lot to learn.

Remember all those asian gang back in the '90s? You may even recalled AB, CDK, and RPB are some of bigger asian gang. I live in the valley so its pretty big here. Almost didn't make it home on a few occasion. BTW, I never was or is in a gang. I get enough **** from those fobs just being on the outside. I'm Thai if anybody is keeping score.

Koean on koran crime, nothing new either. Look at black on black crime, how far does those goes back? Superiority in your own culture/community. I personally don't frequent K_town, and I won't be starting anytime soon now. I still want to drive the G home.

uhhh asian gangs are kinda weird. They claim territory and colors but once they get into prison its a diffrent story. Next time you go to k-town just dont make eye contact with those "BANGED OUT" kids. I live in diamond bar and its pretty peaceful here diamond bar is the ****

Thumbs up

This is gonna sound really really gay, but out of impulse, after reading all the legal help for tickets and such from this site - Is there any action we can take legally?

I don't know if there is anything that we can do legally..
but sure there are things that you can do to stay away from these lil punks..

1-don't stare at them..
(this is the easiest way and silliest way to get into a fight)

2-don't dress up all gangter way. (you know what I mean)

3-don't talk **** about anybody
(if you don't like the person or place, just leave, K-town people don't like
hearing anybody else's opinion)

4-don't roll too deep
(meaning big crowd, unless you know lots people in K-town)

5-Don't wear CORTEX
(you are just asking to get jumped or stabbed by just wearing this)

6-be POLITE
(i know it sounds silly but hey,,I prefer being polite to lil punks and not
get stabbed or jumped.)

and I'm pretty sure there are tons different ways to avoid fighting in anywhere..I'm 21..so I used to be involved in that lil punks crowd..but
I was never in gang or anything like that..I just love to kick back in K-town..
and now, I got lots of friends that can give me a hand if anything happens..

especially watch out those kid with no hair..keke
or kids who wear NIKE CORTEX !!

I know there are lots ***** going on in K-town..
hey but I still got love for this place..hehe

I've actually had a recent verbal encounter with a young punk kid who is Korean and fits the general description you guys mention in your posts. This young punk however, does not even live in K-town and this incident occurred in SoCal, more like Mission Viejo area. This punk kid is "Banged out" and also wears the NIKE CORTEX, but I think it's more of the mentality of these kids trying to be "HARD"... Our little confrontation started cause he thought I was trying to hook up with his GF.. which I wasn't, not even close!! but he has gotten this into his head, and i'm sure he's still pissed off about it..

So far nothing has happened beyond that verbal confrontation, but after reading this thread, makes me a little nervous. He started things by disrespecting me and talking down to me and accusing me of trying to get with his GF, and of course being an older male (age 30) my first reaction (maybe not a smart one) to any confrontation I did not start, was to say "f*ck you, you little punk!"

Either way, try to avoid any confrontation with these little punks..

I like the quote that Dru provided, which is sooo true.

Don't touch it or kick it, just walk around it.
I've already lost a friend to a gang-related incident about 10 years back and it was very unfortunate. He was 18 and had his whole life ahead of him. Hopefully these kids grow up and realize there's way more to life than trying to be or act "HARD". These kids can achieve so much more, if they knew they could..

things like this will always happen..
I'm just lucky to be one of fewest who knows
most people(gangs) in K-town area..
I either know those kids..or the main heads on each group..so whenever
something happens or it's about to happen
I just give my boys a call..and problems are usually solved..
lil punks in K-town will start **** with you for no reason just because
they wanna show off to their homies that they ain't lil sisies..
let's just be careful all the time and try to avoid any fights
in any circumstances..I'm pretty sure ya'll want to keep driving your G..^^
BTW..
I'm craving from KINCHI BOSSAM too..keke
