yes you can get a doctors note for exposure to sunlight but in my case i can't.
I Hate fvcking cops they have nothing better to do but just wait to give you a ticket for no reason. I was hanging out with my friends in a parking lot doing nothing just chillin, and talkin before we were about to go to a kickback. The cop comes into the lot and tells us to leave and we do so. So i head out towards ventura blvd for those of you who know the area and bam he pulls me over. Sir you know we got you for tints right, i said yea thats kool (as they do hav the right, but tints are all worth it, right of privacy, being in inglewood and not wanting people to know who you are, girlfriend reasons, not to mention it loks nice as fvck, etc.) So I said alright not a problem and he askes for license and registration. Mind me my car was stolen a bout 3 weeks ago and they took everything out of my car so i didn't have it.
I gave him my cars registration that they post up on your windsheild when you buy/lease a new car. He went back to his car, and took 10 minutes and its about 10:10 now. he comes back and says how old are you, "as if they cant tell from my license" i said 17, he said you know your not supposed to be out past 10, i said no legally i can drive till 11. He said but you where outside of your car at 10. i said ok w.e he goes back to his car and comes out with a Tint ticket, A no front plate ticket, A no insurance/registration ticket, and a curfew ticket (i was in my fvcking car, i was just chillin in a parking lot and it BARELY turned 10, and biggest burn of all he gets me! theres so many other people, more of them smoking blunts in the Lot.)
I tell him listen sir, i pay for my own car my own insurance i go to work everyday, and i know curfew tickets are expensive, im in my car and i have till 11 to drive. He replied just like this "sign this ticket or were taking you to jail" obviously i signed, but that guy was a ****ing azzhole. My other two tickets were just as dumb as this one, 1. Headlights being off (HE GAVE ME A POINT FOR THAT!) and it was an accident. Fought it still had to pay 10 bucks. 2. He pulled me over because i supposedly cut him off when i made a right onto a street as it was yellow light in my traffic direction.
COPS ARE FVCKING NO LIFE *******S. The ones that are nice and i will admit there are some nice ones are only the ones i talk to in public and ask them about things. The ones that pull you over for stupid **** like this and try to fvck up your day w.o giving you a warning for stupid $hit are complete *******s and should be cited for having nothing better to do on a saturday night.

Yes but it doesn't necessary mean you can tint the windows.
Short version of the CVC:
26708 (10) - The devices authorized by this paragraph shall not be used during darkness.
In other words, the only device you can use are those removable hello kitty shades. lol
