its about a 4 to 1...girl to guy ratio...freaking awsome in a class of like 40 theres only like 4 guys....its sweet up here...lost of stairs but nice....class sizes are small also so its easier to contact teacher etc

I think CSUN and CPP are both ok schools. Maybe you want to consider which one will be easier to commute to. Maybe even talk to one of the professors in the departments you are looking at.

I went to CPP(albeit a bazillion years ago 1990-1995), and it was definitely a commuter oriented campus. Very friendly to those older than the standard 18-23 yo age range. Lots of people in the same situation as you...mid 20's or older and already working full time and just trying to get a degree.

Cal Poly SLO, hands down best in the Cal States for engineering. Still ranks tops in US News for engineering, public school.
