sorry to hear what happened, george

you could try and fight the ticket or just ask for traffic school and pay it. i don't think the fine will be that high since you were only going 7 miles over the speed limit.

i know this website that has a lot of information on how to fight traffic tickets and win. i'll IM it to you later

First Ticket..............

It's not so much the cost of the ticket but the attitude of the cop. He didn't
believe your story and 72 in a 65 is borderline. This kinda thing happned to me several years ago when I had a broad on my tail and she wouldn't get off
after I changed lanes several times. So I made several quick moves taking
my car close to 90 MPH and lost her.......yea I got stopped but the CHP
officer believed me and let me go saying "Nice Ride." I was very lucky!!

definetly fight it! either go court n speak to the judge or use ticketassassin.com (sp?) . i got a similiar ticket avoiding to hit some stupid lady merging into my lane. i had to sped up and ran a red light, wasnt even red it was yellow. anyhow the cop gave me a ticket for 300 bucks. i use that website listed and wrote a written declaration to the court. the judge or whoever read my letter believe me n dismiss my case.gl

Try to win your case by the Necessity of Speed defense. Look into that, and make sure you do a Trial by Written Declaration (if Miami allows it). That way you have two shots at winning the case.
