i have one of the older gen alarms it was from a company called hornet or something.. works pretty well.. a little bit sensitivebut it was relatively cheap too. Distance is pretty nice and remote start is always a nice feature. I would probably try the compustar tho if i had to do it again just cuz i heard a lot about that. The alarm costs me 200 bucks and install was 200 bucks it was hard to find a shop that would wire a remote starter for a 6mt...

Hornet is made by DEI, the biggest manufacturer of car alarms (Viper, Clifford, Valet, Sidewinder, Python, Hornet, etc). They make a very high quality product.

Whenever hooking up a remote start in a 6mt you should reference the OEM P/NP switch that will prevent the remote start from starting in any gear, regardless of if the parking break is on or not.

crap, I should of made my post more clearer my mistake..

The car is getting waxed, not the grille.. and I'm just gonna put grille on for a few pics, and taking it back off, I'm gonna let it cure for no less than 2 weeks
