Double din install

Im looking to buy a pioneer z1 w/ double din for 04 auto coupe (no dual climate control) and get it installed and was wondering if anyone knew a good deal before i bought one as well as a place that install it, im pretty good with technology considering im a comp tech, but i would rather get it professionally installed, and possibly get grounding wires with it cause im sure that will help, so if anyone knows any info plz let me know, im in socal (north part of the valley, woodland hills)

thanx ahead

i had my DD installed by Super Autobacs in Stanton. they did a good job and it was only $100. another option is Corner3 garage. not sure if they do audio install, but you might want to give them a try.

i heard its not good to have the dd install if you got the bose system, cause i bought my car used and it does have the bose system in it but i would rather have the pioneer z1 in there, so if anyone knows anything against it it would be nice to know before i buy it and if you know a place plz let me know, thanx

I did a DD install on my car.. I have the NVIC A1.. (Had it sitting there collecting dust). I had it bypassed and used the stock BOSE system and it sounds great to me.. Not too much but good enough. (I also have two 12s in the trunk).

you should be able to use your headunit just fine with the bose system. Most people say that by changing the headunit alone improves the audio from the bose system.

i would think it would get better with the z1, cause i had my stock system changed once under warranty and the thing still skips when i first start my car still, crappy freaking stock, even though its bose or w/e, but if anyone knows a good place to get the z1 or even the dd kit for 04 at coupe, thanx again for the input

You actually need an adaptor for the bose system...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-8MblOHt...=142C4NN03#Tab

that's what you need in order to install it using bose system. Keep in mind that your steering controls will not work either.
