Cable or DirecTV?

Setting up new service so was just wondering how you guys rate the cable and satellite service here?

Should I do TimeWarner Cable for both tv and internet or DirecTV and SBC DSL? What are your experiences with the quality of these guys? Oh, and in the market for a HDTV too, so if you comes come across a deal lemme know.. nothing too big.. 32" - 42"

I honestly hate directv, I miss time warner, but I'm no longer in the TW area. It would really depend on which TW area you are in. They have taken over allot of different area's and their service is different depending on the area. My menus on the directv box take between 5-25 secs to respond, which the directv **** say are normal. I've had my box changed out multiple times, but still it's crap.

sbc dsl = decent speed + inexpensive
dish network = good and inexpensive

timewarner = I hate them and their ****ty cable service and they've taken away speed channel.

It looks like timewarner expanded their channels.. their digital cable is $29.95/month for 6 months than 44.95 after.. supposedly over 200 channels.. the roadrunner standard 4mx512 or 6mx384 is 29.95 for 12months with digital cable

I just switched from Charter cable + Internet to DirecTV and Verizon DSL. More or less the same combo, but now saving about $70 per month. Couldn't be happier with DirecTV service.

I had the same problems with Direct. The best thing to do is go on ebay and buy a used Direct tv box with TIVO not DVR. Direct only made them for a year or two when they had a partnership with TIVO. Their is no delay and it's picture is much better.
