Marcos Autobody?

Has anyone used them for AFTERMARKET bodywork/paint? I know they're a very good and expensive body shop but I've never heard of anyone going there for aftermarket installs. I want to know if they'll be able to still do a good job if custom work is needed.

i've been to the one in san gabriel to paint my rear bumper and it was a great match...my friend went to another marcos to have his aftermarket painted and looked excellent too...but not all marcos will do aftermarket bodywork and paint...some only do insurance work (san gabriel)...good luck

I took a small lip kit for my Prelude to them once (San Gabriel) and they were going to charge me an arm and a leg to do it. $2000 just for paint and install. I was shocked, but i think that's their way of getting people to not have them install aftermarket.

Marco's Autobody usually does insurance only. With the price that they charge, you wouldn't want to do anything else there.

+1...San Gabriel Marcos otherwise known as their headquarters, only accepts insurance claims. Even with an insurance claim, they will not install or work on any aftermarket parts only due to liability issues. Marcos in Monterey Park will on the other hand work on anything they can get their hands on. lol

999 Monterey Pass Road, Monterey Park, CA 91754
Phone (323) 262-7415 • Fax (323) 262-7418

Another good bodyshop that Cerritos Infinit recommended is:

S & J Collision Center
18605 Studebaker Rd
Cerritos, CA 90703
(562) 809-4558

Took a Q45 there once and came out beautifully. They're about 25-50% lower than Marcos.
