Ive gone through Primeco (yes, way back), BellSouth, ATT, TMobile, and have now been on Verizon since Nov of 2002. Ive have a couple other carriers in the meantime for work phones.
Having been on boats 16 miles off shore, in Canada, out west, and tons of highways in between, there isnt a provider that can think of getting service everyone I do with Verizon. Add the EVDO broadband speed and you cant beat em.

I had Sprint for years. I was somewhat satisfied, never thrilled. I switched to Verizon because they had better coverage where my house was. When I closed my Sprint account they informed me that they could not close my account until my current month of service was completed. I was only like 3 days into my 'current month'. I asked them how they were able to CHARGE me for a partial month when I began my service? She didn't have an answer for that. IMO that is terrible customer service. I will never use them again. That's my story.

i'm with Cingular for 6-7 years now...they were the best in my area then.only since they merged with AT&T that my phones took the craps
oh wait, you're in NJ and i'm in CA

Have Verizon now for several years, can't beat their signal and service. Unfortunately, they don't get the better phones. I want to switch to Cingular for the BB Pearl, but not sure about Cingular service. Everywhere you look on the internet, they get ripped by customers.
i went from verizon to t-mobile... just for the wider selection of phones...
but nowadays there are tons of better phones here and there! so it doesn't really matter. but verizon has the best reception to me... good example would be..
me and my bro were out fishing somewhere... i look around... no land.. and i hear his phone go off, and it's his friend... so they start chattin, and i look @ my fone... with an X on it. boo! so yea...
fyi, he's been with verizon for 25+ years. my mom too. i cut them short about 5 years ago, so i've been with t-mobile for 5 years.

I'm with sprint cuz of the area I live in.
But it looks like T-Mobile and Singular are moving up in this world.
My phone does not work in some areas in which my Wifes T-Mobile does.
So it really depends on where you live.
