Help me find a good deal on '07 coupe: LA area

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to find a good deal (to purchase - or maybe even lease) a 2007 G35 coupe. I would like to get the base auto model (w/out premium) and get a good deal ($5,500 off MSRP). If anyone knows or has recently purchased a coupe for a good price, please let me know.

Most of the dealers I have contacted, either don't have a base or asking too much (taking $3,000 off MSRP), but I know some people have been getting really good deals lately.

Thanks in advance.

Go through the infiniti website and go through the request a quote section. That's how I got 6k off of my sedan. They were offering 5k off the coupe then as well. I bought mine through Infiniti of Mission Viejo.

Thanks... I tried that already. For some reason it is hard to negotiate with them over the phone - as they don't want to give "good" deals. I guess the alternative is to actually drive up to one of the dealers and start negotiating with them there... that way they can see that I'm serious about buying it.

A few years ago, I bought a G35 sedan... best experience ever. Called up a few dealers and got a good quote over the phone. Then just drove up and signed the papers- that was it.

Good luck. The coupe is harder to get good deals like the sedan. They do exist, you just have to keep trying. I went to several dealerships and used several web sites to get my deal. I can't remember which site I submitted my info to, but it hooked me up. I worked at it night and day for about a week. Then Mission Viejo Infiniti called me up. That sealed the deal. I even got a good rate on my trade in

with the new G37 comming in August, Infiniti is trying to move out their current stock of '07s. I think if I wait until the 4th Q - there will be no stock left.

the 08 hits showrooms August right?... Man I would be shocked as hell if they sell out 07 mid year! That would be remarkable!!! But if you have to have one now, by all means go for it... For a "good deal" I'd wait till Oct-Nov... hope you get the deal you are looking for

Call Sam Miranda at Infiniti of Montclair. Tell him Andy w/Autotrader sent you. They have a great lease now on 07 coupe for $299 a month with Nav and Prem. Great deal! http://infinitiom.com/j/i/19196/InternetSpecials2.html

Not necassarily true. When the 07 Sedan came out the dealership in San Diego still had a bunch of the 06's. They were refusing to give more than 1,500 off of the sticker. Hence I went to Mission Viejo. If you can wait, you probably should.

Tunerdad, that sounds like a great lease rate on the 07. Wonder how much they are offering off of the sticker...

here is what i did.

go through edmunds.com and get a quote from all dealerships within 50 miles of you. put in the comments section that you will be buying a car in the next couple days and tell them exactly what you want don't say your price. Let them know whoever has the best deal you will buy from them in the next couple of days.

I got 500 over invoice on my 07 sedan fully loaded. It took me 3 hours on the phone and responding to emails to get that deal. Went to the dealership and picked up the car. Real fast and easy.
