Check this out im in Miami for a week having a great time. Then on thursday morning i get a call from my friends wife telling me she got a flat while driving my car... oh well i think its just a flat she can buy me a new tire... dont really dwell on it too much until saturday when i start wondering how she got a flat my tires are all good... then i get "Man parts for your car are expensive!", wtf "PARTS!!!" then i hear the truth... she says she had a blow out and the steel belt from the rear tire slapped the side of my car! So there i am pissed but thinking oh well nothing i can do about it ill just take it to my body shop and they can fix it... NOPE! she took it to some ****ty body shop in Westminster called Tho's or some bs like that... now im worried cuz i know its gonna be fcked up when i get it back... i fly in on monday night and she takes me to the shop tuesday morning... just as i thought the job they did was horrible. they didnt wash my car or park it in a well lighted area and it was overcast that day and a blind man could see how shtty the job they did was, but they tell me its fixed and i can take it. As i stop myself from choking the guy i really start looking at it closely... Pits, Paint splotches, unmatched color... you name it and it was there and i wasnt even looking from the side yet this was straight view with it dirty, parked behind a big a$$ suv, and it being overcast. so i tell them im not taking my car like that and they can fix it correctly. This body shop actually sent out 4 people to ask me what was wrong with the car! how are they a body shop when they cant see the obvious! now im here waiting for my car to be finished again but for some odd reason i dont think it will be repaired to my satisfaction again!!! oh the reason she had my car is she was the one who dropped us off at the airport early in the morning so i left my keys cuz her neighborhood was being repaved that week... im gonna stop now even though there is more to this story but im getting pissed off thinking about it...

 

Oh hell no! No one else will EVER drive my G whether I am on vacation or not, especially some dude's wife. I might have to kill her if she did.

 

Damn, that sucks. Sorry to hear. Just goes to show you can't trust anyone anymore.

 

i hope you are really good friends with this woman. sorry to hear she f'ed up your car, even more sorry to hear that the shop f'ed it up more. hope it gets resolved. good luck.

 

thanks but she is like a lil sister so i have been tryin not to get too mad at her... she is taking care of all the costs but... she is lucky she is like a lil sis!

majorly blows... just make an insurance claim and get it over with, I think that falls under your comprehensive coverage anyway... hope you have a $0 deductible though..

i didnt let her choose... she was tryin to get it fixed before i found out cuz she knows i have a temper especially about my car... she asked the wrong person about a shop and my poor car has to suffer because of it...


i know it falls under comphrensive but she is paying for it since she caused the damage, im not gonna claim something i didnt do especially since i didnt choose the shop...

so until they get me a rental im driving their lexus around... i prefer my car but i guess this one will do for now...

 

damn.. gl on the fix.. personally i would just take the loss and go to a reliable shop.. i understand that its completely their fault and fatty waste of money but if they cant do it right the 1st time.. how well are they really gonna do it the next.. pics would be great

I would've gotten my car out of there in a hurry and made her pay to have it fixed properly at the right shop...or just report it to insurance, but they may not pay if it's already been done...sorry dued...sounds awful!

Anyways - on another note...where do you live? My street was just re-paved last week...wondering if you're a neighbor???

If they cant fix my car properly this time I am gonna take it away from them and see if i can take them to court and have them pay for getting it fixed correctly since it will be there second attempt... it is hella frustrating... i just hope when i go back they dont send the first dumba$$ back out to talk to me again or it might end up something like this

 

she had my keys cuz they were repaving the road and had to move my car... her car got trapped in... or so she says so she took mine... im not all that mad anymore cuz she is paying for it but man her insurance company sucks a$$ i now know i will never use AAA... worst costumer service ive ever seen!
