So many damn haters out there!!
Sorry to hear that bro. Definitely try some wax and possible some Scratch X (I know it's not a scratch but it might work) and use an orbital polisher to try to get it out. If that doesn't work then you are probably gonna have to repaint it.

I walked out and saw a cigar butt on the hood as I was getting in. After flicking it off I saw the burn mark on my hood. I didn't see who did it and yes I would have kicked his ***.
I went to pep boys and used some meguiars scratch X. It did reduce the brownish/yellow mark to a degree but not completely gone. I will have to live with it as it's pretty acceptable now after 10 applications of scratch X. The best description of it now is if some bird **** on your car, cleaned up, but can't clean up the yellow residue.
I will try the clay bar and buffing the hell out of it. I took some pics (pretty bad though). I'll try to put it up sometime today just for the curious ppl to see what I'm talking about.
Thanks for all the help so far.

that looks like it will polish off.
oops I didnt read...
If scratch-x wont get it off, try using something more aggressive like DACP.
Do you have a ro polisher?
where are you located? If you are nearby I can help you out.

Carnuba is just wax so = nothing. Stratch X is a very, very mild polish so I'm not surprised it didn't to much.
If you really don't know what to do, ask a detailer. It won't cost that much and you will avoid doing something that will make it worse.
