Hmmmm...
EVO is a nice track/rally car. I've driven my friends modified EVO 9, and its nice. The only thing I don't like about it is its boy-racer image and that its not such a great daily driver.
Evo's have always had a ton of potential.
I like the new EVO's; I think it looks less boy-racer, and has a more sophisticated image.
Anyhow, good luck with your choice!

older bro has an evo9. it's a beautiful and quick car, but i do not dig the handling response.

had an evo8 w/ turboback exhaust, ecu flash, volks...for about a year. It was pretty quick but would never get one again for a daily driver. The inside just feels and looks like a car from the early 90s! (not the seats, but practically everything else) Also Mitsubishi service is known for being terrible. Had an intermittent grind from 2nd to 3rd since I had the car, which they refused to do anything about, saying they couldn't replicate the problem on a 2 minute test drive they did! When I first purchased the car, the suspension was so stiff it felt like i was on tracks! (not a good thing) took over 2 weeks just to get used to. Once I got the G, I never looked back...and couldnt be happier. To each their own of course, just thought I'd add in my 2 cents from being an evo to g35 owner.
