DMV help!
anyone have expertise in the dmv? i sold my evo to a dealership last month and they told me they would take care of all the paper work.. well i called the dmv to make sure that they sent the release of liability in and the dmv said they didn't receive anything, should i just forget about it?

yea i have all my paper work, its a huge dealership.. i talked to the lady that handles all the dmv paperwork today.. she said she sent it in but the dmv is probably lagging.. informed me to do it online right now just incase and keep a copy of the paper work
another thing that you can do is go to AAA if you have it and do it there. most DMV paperwork can be taken care of there. just a FYI.
I would suggest you do it yourself since its nothing much and its easy to do. this can easily bite you in the ***

yeah make sure you get that release done. my parents thought my sister got all of it taken care before and all of a sudden they got bill from a tow truck company like 9 years later saying my parents owed em money for having the car towed and stored... my parents were pissed
