There are different kinds of glue sticks. You need to get the industrial strength heavy duty ones. They only melt on high heat glue guns. Don't use the ones you get at Michaels or a craft store.

Just stating this as an options for those who can't use self tapping screws.

It's not a report, so double spacing is not necessary.

take it to a body shop and they can do it with ease. it's relatively easy, but they will take their sweet a.ss time removing the bumper and putting it back on...so they might charge you ~$100. i don't imagine it taking longer than an hour for a body shop to do everything.

 

do the self tapping screws work on the stock bumper as well? i have the stock customautomesh i gotta install too..it came with these little pieces of wire that i think i'm supposed to epoxy onto the inside edge of the bumper and fold it over the mesh. but the screw idea sounds easier..would it work for stock?

 

go with the screw method.. the epoxy glue stuff is not gonna hold on..

 

I used epoxy on mine, usually the putty type and it worked perfectly. I had the kenstyle front and rear and the mesh wasn't going anywhere.

It takes a little longer to apply and dry, but well worth it.
