Powder Coating in Los Angeles

Are there any good shops locally in Santa Monica / West LA / Culver City / Hawthorne / Lawndale / Redondo Beach / areas?

I want to powder coat my 18" stockers Chrome Black so I want to take them to a good shop.

I'm going to check out a place in Orange (hopefully tomorrow)... It's right down the street from the university.. The owner's son used to surf the forums, but hasn't been on in a while. I'll let you guys know the status of it..

I'm going to one on Rosecrans and normandie tomorrow. Ask Rookie he just got a grip of parts powdercoated and they look good..

well im trying 2 figure out how much it will cost to paint my oem 19s black with the crome lip anybody have a rough estimate

Okay, I spoke to A to Z Powder Coating today. They said it would be $40-$50 per wheel and take 2-3 days?! Should it take that long?? I was thinking like a day?

They should be sandblasting the parts before the coating and baking. Unless you need rush service they will want to bake in batches.

I use beach cities powdercoating on Rosecrans. They've been consistent and have done good work in color. Not sure how any kind of black chroming they do would look. Heard most black chroming turns brown after a while.

oh yeh, i know who you're talking about. that guy had a black g and pc'd his oem 18s bronze.

40-50 per wheel isnt bad... do the polish the lip too?
