anyone want to disclose how much they paid for those pieces?

 

I pay $150 a hour !

 

it wouldn't really matter since each shop/artist charges differently. if they are well known (like on TV or something) they will charge an ungodly amount. if they're small time, it may be cheaper. plus it also depends on a multitude of factors such as size, number of colors, amount of detail, etc. but, to answer your question, i paid about $1k for mine (not including tip....please, tip your artist).

The artist who did my main piece charges $130 an hour, but could easily charge more.... Now that I think about it, I only have about 7 hours of work, but with tips over $1000 into it...

I'll work on pics, but I have two nautical stars (4 inches tall) and my family crest (almost a foot tall) on my back. If I come up with any decent ideas, I've got plenty of skin left....

 

Paul Black at Outerlimits in Anaheim is my artist... I think his rates are about $120 per hr... I've never discussed price with him - I just tell him what I want, he draws it up and inks it. I've never had a problem with what he charged - not exactly sure how much all together but added with tats that Paul did not do I'd say somewhere between $1K $1.5K

No where near the amount I’ve spent modding the G

I'm covered down to my hands

I don't have any pics handy of em, but here's an old pic of my arm from when I lived up North in Sacramento. I think this pic is from 2004. Both my arms are sleeved, some hand tattoos, chestpiece, both my legs are sleeved, etc. Hopefully I'll get cracking on my neck/throat next year.

who's your wife?

 

She's one of Kat's friends. They've worked together before at previous shops and she did some of the tattoo/business side of helping out open the new shop. She's been in a few episodes, but you can see her most frequently on one of the giant posters on the wall in the front of the shop. She has black hair and a silver bikini on in the poster.
