anymore places in SD? I'm still new to the area. I hit up a few bars, in the SD area that my friends took me too. But still looking for local places. I'm located near downtown.

 

Sorry...but I'm going to have to disagree. I love sushi and their sushi is the nastiest sushi that I have ever tasted. Plus I knew a sushi chef that worked there, and he said Kabuki serves what's called "fast sushi". Which basically means that they makes the sushi SUPER fast, and the use the cheapest type of fish that a restaurant can buy. The sushi isn't fresh, and if you look at the ways they make the rolls....they don't put much effort into making the actual sushi. That's why Kabuki's is so cheap. Not sure about the prices now....but I went there over a year ago....and I would NEVER go there again. True sushi/sashimi should just melt in your mouth. Cheap sushi will make you want to chew it before you eat it.
