glad i found this thread.. keep hearing from lots of people to go to california tint. what kind of tint would you recommend for a ivory pearl g35c? what %? O_o

 

Just got my tint done at California Tint today.

Got there at 8:45 and I was no. 4. (God, people come early.)
They started on my car at 9:20 and got out at 10:15.

Little disappointment was that $120 didn't get me the ceramic tint.
The owner said the ceramic is like $200ish (forgot the exact number.)

What I got was Johnson's Greystone 30% Film.

I think someone said they do ceramic for $120, so I was a bit disappointed.
But then again, $120 won't get me the ceramic from anywhere, so it's alright.

Overall, I'm a very happy customer.. so far.


Oh, BTW. don't forget to mention eric's name.
They quoted $135 for someone's Civic Coupe and I only paid $120 for a sedan.

when u guys talk about ceramic tint is that the titanium tint? b/c that i was wat i got

 

i got mine from california tint i got the cheap priced one.. and it's still damn hot on the inside.. i think i need to get a different type of tint

 

tint the windshield lol.. if you dont then it'll always get hot but the whole point of tint is so you're not buring inside with the sun shining at you during midday..

car cools down faster with the a/c with tint... titanium tint is different from ceramic tint.. I believe the biggest up to ceramic tint is that it doesnt effect wireless signals.. (someone correct me of i'm wrong)

but cali tint is the ****, again ask for Peter and tell him Eric w/ G35 or Eric @ surfacemodz sent you over.. be confidient like we're homies.. lol I had a good one.. I was chillin gat TintZone and this guy goes

how much do they charge to remove existing tint and how long does that take? My tint has a greenish hue, I think its from the window, and I hate it need to get it redone.

 

I believe is $160ish =) with the re-tint

 

I paid $175 or something for the re-tint and they fvcked up the headliner... it got all stained and ****...
