Angry Bad day for the G Saturday

So I wake up around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., and my wife is getting ready for a garage sale she had planned with one of our older nephews. This helps us get rid of some junk we don't need and gives him a little cash that we split with him. I go down stairs and get some coffee and my wife walks in. She pauses and then tells me that my nephew (not the one that usually drives around) dented the G. I'm like "what?!" Then she tells me that some how at the same time he had ruined the minivan as well. I take a deep breath and try to relax. I go out and look at the G and see on the back quarter panel just in front and behind the wheel is a dent and scrape . I just walked away without even saying a word. You know that Caribbean Blue is kind of a hard color match. I then realized how he did it. He had pulled the van out and parked it on the left hand side of the drive way on the street, with the rear end of the van facing our drive way. He then backed the G out of the driveway and started turning to soon, and hit the leftside back end of the van with the G! I haven't even talked to him about it because it wouldn't help since he is out of work right now due to the housing crunch. So now the garage sale the got about $75 is costing us about $1,000.00 for insurance deductables. And I wasn't even driving my car. My nephew even asked my wife if I was going to talk to him about it, I said no. There's nothing he can do about it except never touch the steering wheel of my car again.

So sad,

Later,

Ray

Very poor Saturday..........!

You're a better man than me, I have a very short fuse. That's why I'm normally
sorry for the things I say and do in these type of situations. I don't keep
stuff we don't use either, it I don't use it within a year it's gotta go. This
is why I can park both of our cars in the garage unlike the rest of the people
that live in my neighbor hood. Of the dozen houses on my block I'm the
only one that can park both cars, most can't even walk thru their garages....
floor to ceiling stuff!

Well I got some good news from our insurance. They are not going to be charging us the deductible since both cars are covered under the same insurance. Sorry I never got pics in, but I've just been so busy at work lately. Any way I called them to check on the car, and they told me the body work is all done, they are just waiting to gt the left rear wheel back. I guess they assumed that the damage on the wheel was from the fender bender and are repairing it. It was really about a year ago when I was driving into work and turned too soon and hit the curb, took a good chunk out of the curb too. They are also replacing the windshield. There was a crack in it from when I went to get my replacement transmission and something hit the windshield on the freeway. So next GTG I'll see if my nephew can drive me up and you can all see if the car looks as good as it did before.
