Thanks to those fighting these fires!

 

I woke up to all this wind blowing outside my house. It knocked over a couple of plants outside.

 

I just left work in Santa Clarita/Saugus area and about died from the smoke. The wind is blowing the smoke directly into my store and my door swings both ways so the wind would blow in huge gusts of smoke.

A lady out front who was there for an hour said, " I lost my dog. The flames are over 20 feet high and the ranch across the street is gone." So sorry for her loss and those others out there Stay inside guys if yo ucan and be safe.
If you or anyone you know has lost anything, I am very sorry

Wild days in so. cal. First the freeway fire and now the 5 or 7 fires in So. Cal.

 

Its crazy! i live in valencia and you can see the malibu fire and the castaic fire...

241/261 closed...........big fire.......Everyone is being asked to stay on the clock looks like the fire department will be very busy.

I'm in Irvine and I can see the fire in the hills from outside my complex. I think it's the 241/Portola one. We've been staying indoors, but you can still smell the smoke in the air. Very scary stuff Stay safe, everyone.

That part of Irvine i used to live in is getting ready to evac.
Holy crap that's some scary ****.

My prayers are with everyone.
Grab the important stuff and just get the hell out of dodge.

These fires are NOTHING to take lightly.

Peggy, my peeps down in Irvine were saying the same thing.
One called me and said they could see the fire on the hills from his house.
That it seemed VERY close.

damnit... these fires....**** it reminds me of what happened 3 to 4 years ago... mira mesa highschool just closed... poway is now closed and moving people from poway to mira mesa... crazy stuff.... omg.... im just hoping that this fires stop soon

I will say this as a firefighter remain calm and listen to what you are told to do.....

 

Same here.. No one told me about the fires and it took me a while to notice lol. I looked at the sky and thought it was kinda smoggy looking and then I looked at my ash-covered car and the particles that were irritating my eyes/contacts and put 2 and 2 and 2 together.. At times when I was outside I could feel the ash or whatever in my mouth, if I grinded my teeth I could hear something between my teeth.. gross
