Sorry Mike, I'm not a big fan of pits. Thanks for the info though!

I stayed there for about another 10-15 more minutes checking out the other dogs and puppies and then this one lady comes around and asks if I'm the person that filled out the application..

She ends up telling me that they wont be able to give me any puppy since I already have another dog that's NOT spayed. My chihuahua is 13yrs old more or less. I asked, well where the heck can I get my dog spayed, and she replys that my dog is a bit to old to handle the anestezia(sp?)..

Soooo, I am **** out of luck!!

I'm not a big fan of spaying/neuter my dogs since I can handle having a few puppies in the house..

I'm going to try 1 more shelter and if they give me the same BS, then I'll just go get me the Pug from the mall I saw last week!
That sucks Wally! Good luck with the next shelter, I hope it works out.

GF: I should be thankful eric isn't reading this thread.. he'd tell you that you can have a mini pin for free.. shipped to your door lol.

A trainer at my barn was able to adopt two taco bell doggies at the shelter... And they have TONS of them.

Well I tried another shelter and didn't find what I was looking for. My bro and I went to the pet store yesterday where I had last seen the Pug a few weeks ago.

We ended up bringing her home! Here's a few pics of Sasha!

She loves to run around everywhere!! Has so much energy. She's smelling everything and everyone lol

She's 3 months old as of 2 days ago. I'm quite happy with her and hopefully she gets to be at least 15yrs old (human years of course).

Congrats, Wally! She's adorable. I've been wanting to get a pug also. If I do buy one, I'm sure I'll be asking you a lot of questions

Thanks Peggy! She's quite calm when she's on the lap. Actually, she's looking at me type this! And I'll be happy to answer any questions whenever you're ready to buy one.

What a cutie! The puppy stage can be difficult....try to have patience and be consistent (with training), and you'll make it through and get to the really enjoyable part!

If you ever need someone to dog sit, I'll do it! She can ride around with me in the G

Thanks! I bought her a bed yesterday and loved it! No more crying at night! wooo-hooo! And the only thing I have trouble with her tearing up is the Wee-Wee pad. Other than that she's good, I think. And I'll make sure to post pics of the progress. thanks!

How much did you end up paying for her? personally if i were to buy a dog I would prefer to buy it from a breeder rather than a pet store.. pet stores don't really take good care of their animals and if you're going to pay that much for it you would want to know its lineage, disposition, and parents health history
