Ouch. That looks awful. The rear quarter panel took a huge hit too; its gone.

As far as totalled, it looks like its a 50/50 chance. As long as the frame is not bent or damaged, it should be fine to repair. But push them to total the car if you wish.

Just a guess but I wouldn't keep blabing on and on how this guy should ecploit the insurance industry with false claims increasing all ready high prices even higher. Promoting insurance fraud probally is not in your best intrest

If they give you a choice, take it to where you want to go...

It has been my experience that if you take it to their place and they find more than the original estimate they will still pay for it. If you take it to your place, they will pay only the amount of the estimate. If they get in there and find more, it's out of your pocket. Check on that before you decide.

Hey guys is there any shops you guys can recommend. I want a body shop that does work well (paint, mechanic work). Just in case they do not claim the car total (I hope it is !! *Crossing Fingers*). I am looking for a shop that is in orange county.

Don't lose all hope yet, bro. I was rear ended a week after getting my car, and my damage was worse than yours. Thankfully, there was no damage to the frame. I used a great body shop, and they did a awesome job of restoring my G back to the way it was before the accident.
