I have two screw drives and some pliers. Oh and maybe a hammer or two.
what tools do you need to put spacers on? (Obviously, i've never done it b4). But i wouldn't think you would need a whole lot of tools.

Iuno. I've never done it either. Installing the extended studs is "where it gets pricey," says the guy from WCN.

The guy from WCN is a dumba$$

You need a 21mm socket to take off the wheel. a 14mm socket or wrench to take off the caliper, a 22mm wrench or socket to take off the caliper bracket. Take the rotor off, then you soak the stock studs in WD-40 or the like, then you very gently tap the studs out of the hub with a hammer.

And for anyone that says it isnt safe to knock out the studs with a hammer because you'll mess up the hub.... you can kiss my A$$, i've done it on a 400hp EVO and he didnt have any problems with his hub thereafter, you just have to take your time and not use too much force.

I would do it, But I am in the 818. I have done plenty of these, including the ones on my own car.

I replace the studs with longer, stronger ones from ARP. It took me about an hour, so if I did it for you it would be like $150 more or less. After all, it has to be done right. Always use the right tool for the job.

if you ask me, $150 is still pricey (not knocking on your workmanship), i wouldnt pay more than $80 for each axle to get this done if i didnt know how to do it myself. If i still worked at the shop then i would have done it for Cal for $40 (yes that would be selling myself and my skills at working on cars short, but i'd rather hook up a fellow G driver than rip them off)

WCN is not known for the good pricing on misc labor. They charge by the book.

Thats cool and all, but doesn't $80 per Axle make it $160 ? just asking. Yeah i am not trying to Rip any one off or anything, but that the best that i could do for you on that would be $100.

I would just do it my self, find a buddy near by and make it Saturday morning project.

It's not hard to do, just need to fully seat the studs. A pry bar to counter the hub when seating the studs is a must or someone will be holding the brake pedal.

That would make it $160 front and rear. He only needs the fronts done.

Calvin doesn't know how to change brakes. hahaha.

Calvin,

if you want to swing by my place, we can attempt it. From the way Grant explained it, it doesn't seem so hard.

I've changed brakes on a few cars before, so I don't think putting on a spacer will be a problem.
