Anyone looking for G double Din installations

lately, i have gotten a handful of PMs, asking me if i knew anyone down in socal who is skilled at doing double din installs...and i have a freind down there who i have referred a few to, but hes just a student and dont have much time.

after the 6th PM/email i got, i figured i might as well make a post here.

I was going to down to LA in the upcoming months, not sure whcih weekend yet, but just to chill with some friends. if there are really a bucnh of guys looking to get double din nav done, maybe i can stay an extra coupla days, bring my tools and do a bunch of you guys cars at the same time?

with my friend helping me, we can prolly get a 3-4 Gs done a day, sofigure 6 to 8 cars over two days.

as you know, the G doubledin conversion is a bit of a pain, and not many shops have a lot of prior experience...

anyway...reply if you are interested...if i get some responses, maybe i will put up a price list etc etc...

but who knows hehe...

it would be at the earliest mid/late may, at the latest july...

PSI has done tons of installs on G's. Search through his threads and you'll see various professional setups.

heheh, after doing so many Gs, i really hav a feel for it

not an ounce or rushing, i can do itmyself, with nav (z1) from start to finsih in 3-4 hours, and i can run new speaier wires into doors via molexi plug in about 25 mins both sides hehe

but yes, it is a pain in the butt, i was cursing myself when i did the first coupla, after the 4th or 5th one though, it became relatively easy after all the little tips and tricks were sorted out

Have you worked on anything besides G's?? I'm wondering if you're able to install a few goodies on my M3. Like a video source module and also a rear view camera..

I searched for the M3 but once I click on it, it takes me to a Lotus install

Anywho, I want to show you the items I want to try and get done but unfortunately the website is down. I'll post the items a lil later once they bring the site back up.

In the doors?

I know the 1st gen sedan fits 6.5"/6.5" (non bose) and 6.5"/5.25" (Bose) I belive the coupe fits 6.5" in the front doors as well.

I have seen lots of 16psibrick's installs and they are very, very clean.
