i have the FI HFC and FI exhaust, would i pass smog? and also, if i ever get pulled over, does Fast Intentions offer some sort of document or proof that it's legal in terms of noise level and smog?

Once you replace your cats, I think you're in the red zone as far as passing smog, better off putting the car back to stock.

no after market cats are legal in CA for OBD-II cars. with that being said that doesn't mean that you won't pass SMOG, it just means that if the smog station or a cop notices you have HFC's ur done. does Fast Intentions claim their cats will pass sniffer??? i have the Kinetix HFC's and i pass smog, but since there're no CARB numbers it's technically illegal in CA. the cool thing is i got my cats installed at a smog station that said they didn't care as long as they met federal requirements, wich the Kinetix one's do.

Doesn't matter if they pass smog, they are not CARB legal.

Any modifications to the stock cats in California is illegal.

oh, no doubt. i'd leave 'em on, bring the stockies w/you and ask them if it's cool to SMOG you w/the HFC's. if they fail, they can just switch you back to stock anyway.
