Wow, you're just being illogical now. I'm not going to bother having a discussion if you believe the #1 team on the west this year isn't a real threat to any team. That's just closing your eyes isn't it.

Btw, this has nothing to do with what I responded to you with. Re-read both of my last two posts since you didn't comprehend them.

Gasol aint gonna stop Duncan. Everyone knows that. Gasol is not a defensive player. Duncan is a safe player (meaning his game is one of the ugliest in the league). It's effective and he's the first black man that I've ever seen who plays a white man's style.

Do you really think that Kobe is going to be the only player to produce in the series? Do you really think that Odom or Gasol aren't going to produce at all during the series? And we're playing without a center.

I'll lay $100 on the Lakers advancing, as this forum is my witness.
Gasol is so overrated its pathetic... Odom is so sketchy its sad... Kobe is the only player the lakers have that is actually good.

As for Duncans game being ugly... he is the best power forward in the league ugly or not he does whats needed and makes no excuses... im sure if the laker lost tonight they would have had a couple of excuses ready to dish out...

as for Melo and Iverson... Melo is good but Iverson needs to throw up a million shots to get any points... he just plays the numbers... toss up 30-40 shots and he will score... his shooting percentages suck always have always will... and be honest do you really think anyone thought the Nuggets were gonna take it... Now lets take the Jazz... you would have to be retarded to think the Jazz was gonna win the series... and even if they did win all their HOME games it would only amount to 3... in a 4 game series thats not enough now is it...

the Lakers had 2 pretty easy series prior to this one... we are not the Jazz or Nuggets so stop looking for a ring this year its not going to happen

Overrated? I don't think he was highly rated to begin with. He's a good solid player having his first real playoff experience.

They didn't, and they don't.

That's what seeding is for. Lakers did the job during the regular season...Spurs didn't...plain and simple.

The Spurs, with all their veteran players and playoff experience, had all they could handle with another really young team and had to go 7 to advance.

Again...we shall see. That's why they play the games.

So how about it? I'll wager $100 the Lakers advance. If I lose, I'll send you a check, cash, a male stripper...whatever tickles your fancy.
