i live in la and am thinking about getting my car tinted (probably at california tint). i have a coupe, and want to get the front windows tinted as well, same shade all around. i was wondering how common it is to get pulled over because of your tint since its not legal in the front windows in CA?

also, my car's an ivory pearl g35 coupe, would u guys recommend getting it tinted? im having trouble deciding if i should tint it or not, and how dark i should get. suggestions?

20% is most common. getting pulled over is all about place and time.

some guys have tinted the front windshield, but in my opinion i think having the front windshield tinted is a easy pull me over.

Getting away with tint in Ca....?
I discussed tint with a CHP officer friend of mine, what he told me was that
if the driver/passenger can be seen they probably won't bother you. I've had
35% tint all around for over 4 years and haven't been pulled over....that's not
to say I won't be. I don't run a front plate either so if and when I get busted
I'm fairly sure they'll write the tint and plate....it's a crap shoot!
