Thumbs up Recommended! ~ Temple City Auto Repair & Tire

Huge props and major recommendation to Temple City Auto in Temple City, CA (of course)… This humble shop was an initial inquiry for Volk wheels and ended up being a surprisingly exceptional purchase and install experience!!!!

Two brothers Henry and John run and own the place and are up there in the caliber of Tony from Motordyne and Shawn from Church Automotive Testing when it comes to customer service!!!! They have been extremely patient with my multitudes of questions and concerns – superbly helpful with getting me setup with a wheel, tire and brakes package that I’m very happy with and are truly just cool guys that I’d hang out with any time!

The thing that impresses me the most about this shop is they care… It was apparent when Henry continuously accommodated my trifling (sometime ****) desire for detail (all the way down to valve stem choices and TSP mounting)… more about that in another thread… they understand customer’s wants/needs, yet they offer suggestions and advice when it is warranted.

Temple City Auto got me the best pricing I could find for Volk CE28Ns, Toyo T1Rs… once received, they painted my calipers, installed rotors, pads, SS lines, mounted & balanced wheels and tires and did 4 wheel alignment – plus much more accommodating detail that would make this more of a novel that it already is…

Bottom line is without a doubt I highly recommend this humble shop for performance and standard auto repair & install. This absolutely is not a “commercial” for these guys… I didn’t get a discount to say nice things… I never say this on any of the forums unless a shop has been well above avg customer service – and these guys are!

Here are a few pics of the service and the wheels & brakes (brakes from OCAutosports btw, another great cust svc experience – I need more drive time for review of brakes though)… please excuse the dirty car & wheels

Wow they use a torque wrench. I never seen that before. Also is it a 2 wheel alignment or 4 wheels.

they don’t, but I bet they have sources that do… you can give ‘em a call and ask: (626) 287-6417 talk to Henry

they are meticulous about taking care of the car (wheels and all)... they are enthusiasts like us... so yes, with expensive wheels, they use a trq wrench... 4 wheel alignment – it’s a smokin’ price and Henry takes the time to do it right!

Mike, so you finally got the wheels. Great choice.

Now, just drop it a tad, and it will look perfect.

Glad you got a good find on your volks. I think they may be located right next door to JC Auto. Me and my buddy always go there for alignments, would'nt trust anybody else and also he has a mod-friendly rack. He comes highly recommended also.

I've recently got my G35 aligned with henry. Great guy, knows his stuff and DEF. an experienced person (can't say the same for the alignment shop next door). Price is great too! If I say the price is great, then that means price is GREAT! I am all about getting great deals. When he finishes his work and you pay him, you almost feel bad haha. Thumbs up from me to henry !
